The change domain name in admin of WordPress website. First, just log in to your WordPress website account, select Settings → General. Here, please note that items 1 and 2 are WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). Change the two URLs to the domain you want, in most cases, the two URLs will be the same. Note: there will be two different URLs if you store the WordPress file on a different directory than the domain used to access the page. In that case, WordPress Address is the address of the WordPress file storage directory, and Site Address URL is the address that others use to find your site. After that, you just need to Save Changes to finish. Method 2. The change domain name in hosting management In the hosting administrator → Databases (you can access the Databases in items 1 or 2 are OK). In the Databases interface → phpMyAdmin At this interface, you will see a list of tables appear under the name of the database. Find the table named wp_options. You can edit 2 lines of siteurl and home into the domain you want to use → Enter to complete the change. Note: After changing the domain name for the WordPress website, you access the website administrator. At Settings → Permalinks → Save changes to let the system automatically update the new URL. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp catssupport 290 Questions 307 Answers 7 Best Answers 1 Points View Profile email@example.com Added an answer on December 15, 2018 at 9:42 am It have different ways to change the WordPress URL 1, Changing the base URL in your WordPress settings Log into your WordPress Dashboard and navigate over to General Settings Locate the “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)”, and then write down the NEW URL listed for “WordPress Address (URL)” which you will use later.
